Master of Science & Doctor of Philosophy

Objectives

  1. To produce masters with specialties in focused areas of computer science.
  2. To provide focused research areas encompassing all the latest branches in computer science & technology development and innovation.
  3. To contribute to the pool of expertise in research, innovation and development of the nation’s ICT industry.
  4. To provide and enhance graduates who are a capable of doing research systematically and objectively thus making the required decisions and capable of the brightest and most precise ideas.
  5. To provide elementary, enhanced and specialized academic education to graduates in the field of software development so as to be able to further their academic pursuit.


Courses Structure

Master in Computer Science 

  1. Graduate students must complete an audit course as preparation to do research works, writing and publication. The course is to be taken early in the first semester of study. The course is TPF5XX0 (Research Methods for Computer Sciences).
  2. Thesis proposals in relevant areas of study.

Entry Qualification

  • Master’s Degree

    Bachelor’s degree with CGPA 2.75 and above or equivalent.


    OR

    Candidates with CGPA at least 2.50 and 3 years working experience and other qualifications recognized by UniSZA Senate.


  • Doctor of Philosophy

    Candidates must possess a Master's degree or a Bachelor’s degree with First Class Honours.

Language Requirements (International Candidates) :

  • Candidates whose first language is not Malay Language must attend Bahasa Melayu course offered by UniSZA during their tenure as a student

  • Candidates must pass TOEFL with a minimum score of 550 or IELTS with minimum score of 6 (except for Faculty of Islamic Contemporary Studies)
