Stellar Night Dinner 3.0: A Heartfelt Tribute to Final-Year Students
Kuala Besut, Terengganu | 24 June 2025 (17 Zulhijjah 1446H) – A memorable and meaningful evening unfolded at the Temu Primula Hotel with the successful hosting of Stellar Night Dinner 3.0, an appreciation event dedicated to honouring the achievements of final-year students from the Faculty of Informatics and Computing, Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA).
The event was organised by the Informatics and Computing Student Association (PMFIK), with the strong support of faculty members and administrative staff. This special occasion gathered over 60 final-year students from various academic programmes under the Faculty, alongside invited lecturers and the organising committee.
The evening began at 7:30 p.m. with participant registration, followed by the arrival of esteemed guests. Attendees stood for the national anthem, Negaraku, and UniSZA’s official anthem, Ilmu Demi Faedah Insan. The programme proceeded with an opening prayer and a welcoming address by Dr. Wan Mohamad Rizhan bin Wan Idris, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs and Alumni, who officially launched the event. This was followed by a speech of appreciation by Dr. Elissa Nadia Binti Madi, who expressed her heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the dinner.
The programme featured a variety of engaging segments, including a nostalgic video montage highlighting moments from the students’ academic journey, a lucky draw session, and relaxed performances by the students. Adding a festive touch, the evening embraced a Tropical/Hawaiian Night dress theme, which created a vibrant and cheerful atmosphere. A major highlight of the night was the crowning of the King and Queen of the Night, awarded to the most outstanding male and female students based on their appearance and enthusiasm.
Stellar Night Dinner 3.0 proved to be a valuable platform for strengthening bonds between students and faculty, while celebrating the spirit and camaraderie of the graduating class. It also aligned with UniSZA’s mission to cultivate holistic graduates who not only excel academically but also demonstrate strong character, leadership, and appreciation for community.
The evening concluded joyfully at 11:00 p.m., leaving behind lasting memories etched in the hearts of all who attended.
