The Master of Information Technology (Management Informatics) program aims to produce Information Technology professionals who meet market demands and enriched with management skills and knowledge that is in line with the rapid and latest developments in technology as well as enhanced with high value added and self-esteem. The STMIP program has been approved by the Certificate of Quality Compliance (CQC), the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) on 25 November 2014 while at UniSZA Stage level is on 27 January 2015 and UniSZA's University Board of Directors (LPU) is on 24 February 2015. The duration of Master of Information Technology (Management Informatics) is 1 Year and 6 Months.

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Passed a Bachelor's Degree in any field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 recognized by the UniSZA senate;
  OR
• Passed a Bachelor's Degree any field with with CGPA of at least 2.50 recognized by UniSZA senate; and have a minimum of 3 years working experience;
  OR
• Graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in any field with with a CGPA of less than 2.50 which was recognized by the UniSZA senate; and has a minimum of 5 years working experience;
  AND
• English language requirements for international candidates (Commonwealth countries are exempt):
  • IELTS 6.0
  • TOEFL 550

The curriculum structure offered is in accordance with the structure outlined by the UniSZA which involves Core courses (including Research Methodology and a Dissertation) and Specialization courses.

Qualifying to be awarded a Master of Information Technology (Management Informatics), each student is required to pass at least 20 credit hours for the coursework and 20 credit hours for dissertation.

Study Scheme

The studies begin with lecture-based courses that will be assessed through the process of the course and the final exam, followed by research in the relevant field and end with the dissertation.
