We @FIK aims to strengthen our research to reflect into quality output and to nurture a research aware environment into our academic staffing and students from the early university life.

To achieve this, assistanceships in a form of technical and financial aids are periodically channeled to our researchers via their research projects. We believe our staffs must be fully equipped with knowledge and skills in order to achieve excellency in particular research areas. By this, we will be able to create outstanding research output in a form of impactful articles, well-accepted product and knowledgeable students. Many research grants are made available from our university as well as the government to support the development and completion of any particular the project.

For potential product commercialization, we provide pathways and mechanisms for ease for researchers to engage with the industry for possible collaboration. Industrial collaboration has played an important part to secure the success of product penetration into the marketplace. Moreover, we also encourage entrepreneurship among our students by providing facilities via an entity called UniSZA digital hub for them to start up their companies.

From time to time, we also reach out to community for nourishing our effort to be a part of closeby society. Knowledge transfer sessions and activities are periodically organised for nearest schools. Not to mention various events and funfairs for the purpose of mixing with local societies.

In achieving our goals, we always stress out on the importance of ethics during our works among our staffs. Works must be conducted with an ethical and respectful manners. At the same time, we strictly go against plagiarism.
