The FIK was officially approved in June 2006 by the Ministry of Higher Education. The faculty was established with the upgrading of Information Technology Center, Sultan Zainal Abidin Religious College (KUSZA). The Information Technology Center was officially established on 1 June 1997.

UNIVERSITY GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Malaysian Citizen
2. Obtain at least FIVE (5) credits including Bahasa Melayu and LULUS History in Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)

PROGRAM SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

1. Obtained at least Grade C ONE (1) from the following subject at the SPM level:
   - Mathematics
   - AND
   
2. Obtained at least Grade C ONE (1) from the following subject at the SPM level:
   - Islamic Education
   - Islamic Sharia Education
   - Al-Quran and Al-Sunnah Education - Islamic Tasawwur
   - Arabic
   AND
   
3. Get   at least   TWO (2)   from other subjects other than those selected NOT INCLUDED
   AND
   
4. Get   at least   Grade D   from English

Yes. UniSZA is an open university, you are allowed to visit the campus area and environment. However, most office or laboratory areas can only be accessed with staff card or student card only. If you are interested in visiting certain locations please inform the university.

The Faculty has 4 undergraduate degree programs with MQA qualifications. Here is a list of undergraduate degree programs:

Bahasa Melayu as the Official Language of the University. However, English is widely used in the teaching and learning process, aiming to assist in the careers of the students. For courses taught in English, exams will be conducted in the same language.
